Tregolls Manor Winner of six prizes at the Truro in Bloom Horticulture Awards

Tregolls Manor and its gardener Michael Sanders dominated the city of Truro Gardens and Allotments awards, with six prizes including the prestigious Evea Rose Bowl and the Overall Winner of the Competition award.Other  notable winners were: Haley and Robert Preston, for Outstanding Achievement; Paul Adkins, of The Mitchell Hill Clinic, as Best Newcomer; and the allotment holders of Treverbyn Allotments, who achieved Best Overall Allotment Site.Truro in Bloom winners included Mallets, for the Park Manager’s Cup; St Mary’s Primary School, for Best Overall School; and Chantek, which won the Portman trophy for best restaurant.

Parks manager Richard Budge said; “Tregolls Manor was Particularly stunning this year; Normally we would take the IN Bloom judges to visit but due to the road works we were unable to get there”
